WordPress and Blogger new interface comparison

Admin
The content management system(CMS) is now very popular and essential as well to write anything in a webpage without coding. Blogger and WordPress are also CMS. They have their self features to write and edit a post and also have some differences.

Blogger new interface and WordPress comparison
Blogger vs WordPress

So, this article is going to compare these two popular CMS: WordPress and Blogger. But here I will compare WordPress with the new Blogger interface that has been updated in the middle of 2020.  So don't misunderstand with the articles that denote the comparison of old Blogger and WordPress. If you still don't visit the new blogger interface, log in to your blogger account and you will see the new interface applied by default.

Blogger is Google's free blogging platform. WordPress is also free. These both are good and popular CMS. Any person without any coding knowledge can publish their writings. At the recent before, many writer and bloggers underestimate Blogger as it's not so responsive, user friendly and there's lack of good templates. But recently Blogger has updated itself. Its new interface is so much eye-catching. Comparing other CMS, it's more user-friendly. As a Google service, it's also gone under Google's traditional styles. Before, it was so hard writing a post in Blogger at mobile devices. But now it's changed and the first choice to many bloggers publishing their writings from mobile devices. These both have mobile apps so you can easily post your writings. You can search for Blogger or WordPress app in PlayStore.
Again Blogger is not only free but also you can earn here freely by Google AdSense. At the Blogger earning tab you will find a more smooth way to connect AdSense to your blog. You can read my post about the beginning to earn money online.

On the other hand, WordPress blogging is free but you can't install any plugin and even your writings are good, you are not allowed to show ads by AdSense or WordAds by WordPress or any other vendors until you purchase a minimum package. Therefore you can't earn money freely from WordPress doing advertise. However, if you buy a package, it's easier to being approved by WordAds than AdSense in Blogspot as it's quite free. There is a post about inspiration, I wrote to inspire bloggers to get approved by AdSense.

Both of these platforms need to buy a custom domain and add it using the DNS transfer system to make branding your website. In Blogger, you are also able to set a subdomain as well, for example: blog.yourdomain.com. This kind of subdomain will work as your site's blog.
If you only depend on organic visitors for your website and not willing to buy a custom domain you are invited to read this article about how good is Blogspot or Blogger subdomain for SEO.

However, if you buy any used domain for your business or blog, read this article and be alert.

Now let's discuss SEO eligibility for both of these CMS. Many bloggers suppose that WordPress is good for SEO as there is a meta tag box and Blogger has not it. But today's Search engine especially Google has no special declaring about SEO for meta tags. Search engines mainly focus on content. However many others think that as in WordPress there is a plugin system, and Yoast SEO plugin is a nice tool to check SEO content, they go to WordPress. But if you are a good SEO article writer then it's no matter using an artificial tool. And you have to know that using plugins is not good for website security as most of the plugins are from third parties.

There are also a lot of talking about the Blogger default themes because the themes have an h3 tag as a post's title tag. Where WordPress theme doesn't do that. It uses h1 tag as the title. So many thoughts that WordPress is good. But there is a misunderstanding. Blogger gives you a chance to add h1 tag in the post content as the title was used in h3 tag. This helps you to permute your keywords in both title and h1 tags separately.  As a result, your SEO will be more good. But as WordPress's title and h1 tags are same, you can't use an h1 tag further because according to standard SEO page rules, you can't use multiple h1 tags in a page. As a result, you are bounded to use your keywords only in one line. However, as the title tag is more important to the search engine than the h1 tag, you can keep writing your keywords in the title tag.

Hoping you have got an overall compulsory discussion about WordPress and Blogger. If there are any other points to be mentioned here, you can comment.
