5 mistakes in RESUME, rejection from a JOB

5 mistakes in RESUME for which you are being rejected from a job

CV or resume is the first key to entering the corporate house, the job industry. Five common mistakes on the CV caused our country's graduates to fail to manage good jobs. Since CVs are almost identical for the freshers, we must be careful about it. Let's start the five points:

  1. The first major mistake is to mention only the name of the university. But just giving the university name, the name of the university doesn't help the HR manager very much. If you have a university famous, you may recognize it. Otherwise, it's not possible. And an HR manager doesn't know all the institutions. And if there's a new university, it's not going to be known anymore. Now, it's easy to get rid of this problem. If you have a job on your CV, you can take a related major course and have a club in university life. If you are involved in an organization or do something this job-related, you can mention it. And don't make all the information details or too small.
  2. The common mistakes are on project details. When we scan the CV, many CVs show that the project has nothing to do with it. There are many Projects on CVs but only names. The project does not have any reference or links. This makes an HR manager understand what you did on the project and what functions or features you developed. And sometimes that's why your CV is discarded. To resolve this problem, add a small desktop to the project when you add a project to your CV. Host Project a Github or elsewhere and add it to its live link CV. However, avoid long links when adding links. If you change this little, it's easier for any HR manager to understand your past work. And if the work is related, he'll be interested in you.
  3. We have the third common mistake for computer science students, is the use of the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows 98/2000 on all CVs. Look, when you're a computer science student, you should be an expert in Microsoft softwares. Normal windows should be familiar to you. And software companies don't want to know if you can use Microsoft Word or Excel. Windows 98/2000 is out of use long ago. Microsoft has now turned off support for 2007. When you add them to the CV, it is easy to understand that you have copied and pasted these. The skills in the CV don't add value but create a negative impression. Note that Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel are not unique skills for computer science students, but also a significant skill for other department students. Some jobs are particularly demanding Excel's skills.
  4. Another common mistake is bad formatting while making CVs. Update the name and address and make our own CVs. And now there are many who download and submit to the CV format of the Carrier Portal. The problem here is that even if you don't give some information to the carrier portal CV Maker, you can still export the CV. It may be that you are submitting a senior's CV for software engineering. Maybe one of the CSEs is using CV Civil Engineering. This way, it doesn't fit in the normal way using other CVs. You're having trouble arranging your projects or you can't get the GitHub profile you need. It's for CSE, but it could be the same problem for other departments. CV formatting is different for each category. When you're giving a BAD FORMAT CV, you can skip the scanning time. You can be deprived of a dream job only because of this problem. Many people want a good format. If you search Google with a little bit of pain, you'll get a lot of formats. And if you don't, make a separate format with your basic information and simply if you use a CV format from a senior or someone else, make sure that the CV does not look like the old CV. The first impression is very good when you see the CV. Remember, to an HR manager, there are many job applications for each job. When you drop a CV of a bad format or submit a job application, your chances of getting a job are much lower.
  5. Let's talk about bonus mistake. On the CV we often see a lack of evidence that means your projects don't match the skills you've added. You can't say when you ask. Gardening is a favourite on the CV, likes reading books, travel choices. But when asked where did you travel last or what books you read last? Candidates can't answer.
    • Another bonus is a mistake, the wrong contact deals. It's a bit surprising, but the truth is, many people put wrong contact details on CVs, emails where emailing doesn't get a response. If you call again, you can't find a job candidate's ticket. You can add alternating email and alternating phone numbers to solve this problem. Give the home number to the alternate phone number. We all change our numbers, but the house number is not usually changed.
    • The last bonus mistake is a bad presentation. There are many CVs that contain a lot of information. And these data are so high that it looks bad. Sometimes it's not clear. Solving five mistakes on your CV will increase the chances of getting a job.
